The day is here

The day has arrived - we are going to start potty training Phillip - OH MY! He picked out some new underwear - Scooby Doo - he does not call them underwear he calls them his scooby doo's - he is very excited and runs to the bathroom every 5 minutes - unless he has to pee of course - then he has an accident - it is ok we will get it sooner or later.

As you can see he is very proud of his scooby doo's he has to wear them all the time.

Hunter Tatterson Vice President

He was the only one in a suit on the day he had to say his speech - he was on TV! The school has a News program every morning that broadcast over the TV's in the room - he did a great job with his speech.

He was a little nervous that day but, seem to have it all together as usual.

This is his best Friend Hayden - he ran for Treasurer and was also elected - they should have a lot of fun being in office together next year! What an accomplishment - we are so proud of you Hunter.

Hunter Tatterson Vice President

What a week! Hunter campaigned for a week for Vice President of Tallwood Elementary - he would be up against 4 other students - he really had to work hard at this one - there was some steep competition.
He got up early every day and handed out flyers, buttons, poster and talked to everyone about his reasons for being Vice President.

We drove around in the van with "Vote for Hunter Tatterson" painted on it for a week!

All the kids seemed to be really responsive to his campaign.

Mothers day

What a perfect day! I had so many nice gifts - journey diamond necklace - set of pearls - hats - candy and a wonderful dinner - the boys and Molly were all so nice to me and made me feel really special that day.
Everyone went out of their way to show me that they cared and it meant so much to me!

Bob's 39th birthday

Bob had a great birthday - Hunter and I got up extra early and made him an Italian breakfast with a home made hot chocolate bar! He got a lot of presents from the kids and a new living room suit to watch his movies on.
Molly got Bob a pizza stone and Hunter and Pip got him a comforter that he has been wanting from Macys.
He was off all day on his birthday so we had a nice quiet day together.

Molly's 11th birthday

Molly had such a nice birthday - she was able to go to NY with her mom, grandma and Uncle - she bought a lot of nice things there and recieved a tennis bracelet and pokemon toys and games from us at the house - she is going to have a birthday party once the pool is installed this summer - she wanted to have a pool party so she asked if she could wait until then.

She was so excited about her trip that she did not sleep the whole night before she left - she has been wanting to go to the Pokemon center in NY for 2 years!

Hunter baseball spring 2007

This baseball season was a little bit tough for Hunter. He had a great season but, since he grew so much this winter he had a hard time getting his gross motor skills going. He was a little disapointed in himself. He has some great coaches though - both his coaches are pastors at a local church and Coach Rob played AAA ball - he is really learning a lot this year and we hope to have the same coaches for the next two years! Bob is even considering playing softball with them on Saturdays in a city league - By the way - Bob has lost almost 40lbs he is down to 280 and is hoping to lose 30 more - he is doing a fantastic job with his weight loss!

Spring Break 2007

We had such a nice spring break - we went to WV and visited for 5 days. Hunter stayed with Pappy and Nana the whole time and James and Todd took us to the winery - what a nice place - the people there were so sweet - they took us on a tour and showed us every bit of the land and winery - we sampled wines and bought a case - the wine is so nice there - they had a lot of WV pottery and we were able to purchase a set too. Of course James and Todd treated us the whole day! They spoil us everytime we see them!
Later that night Hunter went out to the van and picked up the wrong box by accident - he grabbed the box of wine and dropped the whole box! Luckily only 1 bottle broke - I thought we were going to have to drive all the way back to the winery that night!
These pictures were all taken inside the winery on front of one of their big fire places. The owner continued to give Phillip M&M's the whole time we were tasting and touring - he loved it.

Phillip trying to be a big boy!

This is the day that Phillip decided he was to old for naps and refused to go take one - he stay up as long as he could and then passed out on the couch at 4:30 - he has never refused to take a nap since! I guess he will try again next year.

Easter 2007

Phillip was able to paint his own easter eggs this year and, to my surprise, was very careful with them! He did go after them each day and broke 2-3 a day so he could eat them - they were all broken or eaten within 4 days!

Easter 2007

What a great Easter we had! This was the first year Phillip was able to open his own Easter basket! He had so many - Grandma and Grandpa gave the kids one then we had one for them and Grandma Peggy, Kristen and Aunt Nikki came over and brought Easter baskets with them! WOW! We were able to take Phillip to Easter day at the Zoo - he really enjoyed himself that day! He loved his baskets though - he wanted to wear everything and eat everything in them. The kids had a nice time opening theirs as well - they each received some pretty special items in their baskets - Molly received some Pokemon toys and Hunter got an MP3 player from Bob they both received a basketball from Grandma Peggy and pillows and Candy from Grandma and Grandpa.

What a great birthday party Phillip had! Grandma (as you can see in the first photo) was exhausted from entertaining the whole weekend - we really appreciate her allowing us to party at her house every year! We had a nice crowd and Phillip was spoiled by all! He really enjoyed his cake - he loves Curious George - My favorite part of the night was when he was trying to do everything his Unlce Mike did - he really enjoyed trying to act just like his Uncle Mike - he still gets his guitar and tries to play like him. It was such a nice time visiting with everyone - I wish we could do it more often - I think everyone really enjoyed themselves. Thank you to everyone for making Phillips 2nd birthday so great!
