MOTHERS DAY 2008

This year Bob took the boys out and had them pick out rose bushes to plant for me. It was so sweet! Even little Phillip wanted to plant it by himself. He called it dinking instead of digging and he dinked his little heart out. I loved my presents - they never did bloom though... what a shame! I am hoping they will bloom next year!

Hunter's spring baseball season

Hunter's baseball season started off a little rocky this spring. He had some great coaches though and he was able to learn how to slide and by the end of the season he was hitting the ball really well again! I think he grew so much he had to get used to his body again.

Molly's 12th Brithday

They toilett papered her at the end of the party!!

Molly had a wonderful birthday party this year!! We had her party at laser quest and a lot of her friends and family came to celebrate with us. She recieved a lot of nice gifts and was pleased with the turnout of family and friends. We were all tired but, had a really nice time. We also had a small family party for her at our house too!! How great is that!! TWO BIRTHDAY PARTIES!!

Our Disney trip

Disney was wonderful - Everyone has seen our pictures from Disney, so I didnt post them here. I just posted these two. The boys had the best birthday and Phillip still remembers everything (to our surprise). He thinks everyone gets fireworks and goes to a castle for their birthday. It was well worth the trip. It was warm enough for everyone to go swimming too. Seeing Disney through the eyes or our children, for the first time was so magical. We hope to return one day soon!

Phillip's 1st bike

Bob and I bought Phillip his first bike and he immediatly started riding it. He still has training wheels on it, but he just pedals away.

Bob Taught him how to get off and on by himself and he started out going down the driveway - now he is riding it around the court!

He does a great job and enjoys being around the older children

Shamrock race

This is Hunter's first marathon. He did a great job and finished in the middle of his heat.

Phillip loved watching the race and cheering his brother on - there were a lot of activities and we all had a great day at the beach.

Phillip almost 3!

Phillip tries to hard to fit in with his older siblings - imagine our surprise when he decided he wanted to ride a scooter - we were very hesitant at first - a two year old on a scooter?? We just knew he would fall and be black and blue all over - to our surprise he is very good at balancing himself on it and rides around our court with all the other older children - even though the handle bars are past his nose. He is beaming ear to ear while he rides and thinks he is "fitting in". He has yet to fall off! I am sure it is coming - he is becoming a little dare devil. We will put more photos when we get back from Disney in March. We love and miss you all!!!

What a birthday

My husband and his mom really went out of their way to make my 30th birthday extra special! What a game - the cowboys played the worse game of their life - the weather was rainy and cold. I had the time of my life!! It was great - I was smiling ear to ear - it was amazing and I can't wait until we get to go again - and Mom and Andy were so dear to watch Phillip while we went. What a great husband!! Thank you for a great birthday Bob!!!

Christmas 2007

We had a wonderful Christmas - the kids really enjoyed our annual ride through the neighborhoods, looking at lights and drinking hot chocolate. We had a wonderful time visiting all of Bobs family in Northern Va and my family over the Thanksgiving Holiday - We really enjoyed visiting with A. Diane and David - we have not seen them in so long. My Brothers went out of their way to make our stay nothing short of elaborate and my best friend Brandy and I enjoyed our day out shopping together. What a wonderful holiday. Our trip up to visit Bob's family was full of fun and surprises for all.

Christmas 2007

We had a wonderful Christmas with
Bob's family - we went to Mike and Katherines first where we enjoyed a lovely night at their home and talked to Bob and Liz until late. The next morning we woke up and opened presents with the Mike, Katherine, the girls, Bob and Liz. It was a wonderful time and we really enjoyed spending time with Katherine and Mike and remembered just how much we miss them! We went to Mom and Andy's that afternoon and she took us to D.C. to see the state trees and the national tree. It took my breath away - I have never scene a more beautiful tree. Phillip really enjoyed the trains traveling around the bottom of the tree - it was spectacular. We had hot chocolate and was able to walk past the white house - we were close enough to see the tree inside one of the windows. We were able to open presents and to my surprise Bob got me tickets to see the cowboy - redskin game. The game was on my birthday - I was so surprised - Mom did a lot of work to get the tickets for Bob and we were both very appreciative of her hard work and diligence in getting them. We went to the game and had a wonderful time - the weather was cold and raining but I loved the game and cannot wait to go to another one - It was the best birthday present I have ever had!

Hunter's Flag Football 2007

Hunter had a great season this year - his best yet - after each game the other teams coach would come over and tell us what a great player he was and how he needed to be on a tackle team - we were very proud of him - this year Bob decided to coach his team. Bob really had fun and wants to start coaching each football season and possibly coach Phillips soccer team - if he decides to play.

Poker Run 2007

Bob and Phillip had a boys day out this day - they went to the poker run that Geico was hosting - they had a Geico custom bike, the Geico Nascar and a lot of other really neat things. They had a wonderful time and Phillip was amazed at all the different bikes that were there.
