Spring Break in WV

Hunter and Phillip opened their first Easter baskets in WV with Nana, Pappy, Uncle James, Uncle Todd and Aunt Ronda.

Pappy had to help Phillip with his. He wanted to take Hunter's candy instead of his own.
As you can see both boys are having a great time in WV!! Posted by Picasa

Spring Break in WV

What a great time we had in WV. Phillip learned that coffee containers are great drums!
Phillip was very happy to see his Nana and Pappy.
Hunter and Pappy road around on the John Deers and cut the first grass of the season.
As always Hunter wanted to stay another week but we had to leave. He was not happy about that. Posted by Picasa

Aunt Diane - You must feed me more food!!

Phillip has fount out what every one else has known for years!!! Aunt Diane has the best food around! He stayed with Aunt Diane for 45 minutes begging for her food. When he thought she was not feeding him fast enough he would grab her shoulder and shake her as if to say "You need to feed me faster"

I think he ate everything on her plate. I am not sure if Aunt Diane even ate dinner or if she fed it all to Phillip. This is the most food I have ever seen him eat. I think he ate more than I did. Aunt Diane, I don't know how you are going to make enough food to feed all these boys, when they get a little older, in the summer. With Bob, Mike, Phillip and Hunter you are going to need another house just to keep their food in!
We are all planning on getting together with the kids this summer at Aunt Diane's. It is something we look forward to doing every year. Posted by Picasa

Phillips 1st Birthday

Is this not the best cake you have ever seen? Eunice made both cakes!! She is so talented. They really know how to throw a party. As you can see Molly, Hunter and Phillip loved Grandma's cake. She even made a small one just for Phillip. You can see how much he loved it. Phillip was a little apprehensive at first. That only lasted for a few minutes. Once he got a taste of Grandma's cake he was hooked. There was no stopping him. My friend Cathy Lyon took most of these pictures. She did such a great job! Thanks Cathy.
After everyone had cake all the kids opened their goodie bags. Bob and I had a few minutes to spend with our little 1 year old. This is one of the only pictures we have together with Phillip. Thanks again Cathy!!!

After presents and cake we all had a chance to catch up and talk. Then everyone had to go. Phillip got into his Jammies and was able to snuggle with the family. He made his rounds and loved on everyone in the house. Since he loves brunettes so much he loved on Aunt K.K twice! You can see in the bottom middle picture he was very tired from his big day. I wonder why he didn't cry with anyone else? He must have known we were going to put him to bed! Posted by Picasa

Phillip's 1st Birthday

Well it is finally here! Phillip's 1st Birthday. I can't believe he is 1 already. It seems like just yesterday that we were bringing him home from the hospital. He had the best birthday a 1 year old has ever had. So many people came to celebrate his 1st Birthday. There was over 25 people! Thank you all for coming. I know a lot of you traveled many miles to spend this day with us. We appreciate all that you have done. Here is everyone enjoying the pizza that we had. We were all starving! I hope everyone enjoys the pictures!! Remember we told you that you would be on the internet!!!
Phillip got so many nice presents. He plays with them everyday! He moves the animals up and down on the present Debbie and her family got him. He loves to hold onto his dog that Grandma and Grandpa got him. He likes it when it sings to him. He has a great wardrobe thanks to Kevin, Monique and Liam. He bought a new baby Einstein video with his gift card from Brian and his family. He sleeps with his bear Aunt K.K. got him. He chews on the blocks everyday that the Lyons got him and he will be sporting some trendy trunks at the beach because of them. He plays for hours with his train that Mrs. Miller got him. He will be the smartest baby in town with his new leap frog leap pad that Uncle Mike, Aunt Katherine and the girls got him. He likes to push the shapes a lot. He plays with his bubbles for hours. His sister got him those. His brother made sure he will be a country boy. His brother got him John Deer toys. We would like to thank each and everyone of you for such generous gifts!!!
Phillip had to have a long drink after eating his cake. Take a look at the pictures of the cake you will see why he needed to drink so much. He had a whole cake to himself!
This is Phillip as he tears into his cake. He made such a mess!! Grandma made the cake just for him and it was a beautiful cake. Phillip enjoyed every last crumb. Who couldn't love a face like that!! What a ham. Posted by Picasa

Phillips gifts from Grammy and Grandad

Phillip was able to open Grammy and Grandad's presents the 2 days before his birthday party. He was very excited and played with the puzzle, cars and books all night long and all the next day. We didn't let him play with the piggy bank b/c it was ceramic. Phillip really likes books a lot and loves the book with the mirror on it. He likes to twirl it around. He mostly chews on the cars but carries them with him around the house as he crawls from place to place. He likes to take the puzzle pieces and use them as symbols and bang them together. Thank you for the beautiful gifts that you chose for him!

Molly and Hunter's Science Fair Projects

Science Fair Time!!!
Hunter worked on his project with his dad. They spent 2 weeks on the project and had a great time working together. Hunters project was - Does Ice Melt Faster in Air or Water? - he put ince in different types of water and on different surfaces and used a stop watch to time how fast it melted. Thanks to grandma Peggy and her printing business Hunter had a ton of clorful paper to put his information on. Hunter received a 100% on his project. This was Hunter's first project and Chris' first project as a dad. They both made it through with flying colors. GREAT JOB HUNTER!!!

Molly and her mom completed her science fair project together. Molly did a great job! She did so well that she received the highest grade in the class! Her project was on apples - Which Apples Have More Seeds?- She bought apples and cut them in half and counted the seeds and made graphs to show the results. She also typed all the information herself. Great job Molly! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!

Phillip 11 months

This month Phillip has learned to clap when he is happy, blow kisses, say Casey and Dolly and climb. He still does not want to walk

yet. That is alright, we would like to keep him a baby a little while longer. He has received his first Birthday presents. They were from The Fletchers - Michelle, Scott and Anna. Michelle is in the picture with Phillip. He opened a John Deer tractor, clothes, blocks and a beach ball. He loved them all but played with the tractor for hours. Thanks Fletchers!!

Molly and Hunter went out and bought his presents yesterday they had a great time going through the baby toys. All the kids are looking forward to the party this weekend. It looks like it will be a big hit. Over 25 people will be there. My Brother and Todd are coming all the way from WV for the event. We cannot believe that he is turning one already. We added a copy of the invitation to the blog too.

Molly's Field Hockey

Molly is really enjoying field hockey and I have to say she is quite good at it!!! She is doing such a good job we are thinking about allowing her to play this instead of softball. Although she has not made a goal yet she has had many assists. This is the only sport I have seen her put so much effort into. She really loves the game. I will put more pictures on tomorrow after her last winter game.

Phillip 10 months old

This is Phillips 10 month pictures. As you can see he is trying to master feeding himself. He has been standing and pulling up for a month or so but he still does not have any desire to walk. He went to a monster truck show tonight and loved it. He tried so hard to stay awake for all of the events but only made it until 9:30 and missed the free style event. He definately loved the hometown favorite Grave Digger. This was Bob's first monster truck show also and he like it a lot too!! Hunter and I are veterans so we were able to fill Bob and Phillip in on what was going to happen. Posted by Picasa

Hunter's 8th Birthday

There are more pictures and a blog below!!!!!!!!!! Posted by Picasa

HUNTER'S 8TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

Hunter had a great birthday party!!! He had his party at Laser Quest. He got a PS 2, Star Wars toys and money for his birthday. His brother cut his first tooth on his birthday and the superbowl fell on his birthday too!! What a day! All 3 kids had a great time. He said he had the most awesome birthday ever. Unfortunately 2 days before his birthday we had to stay at the doctors all day. Hunter has been diagnosed with Asthma. He is still able to play sports but he had to keep his inhaler with him. The doctor said he could grow out of it. We are all hopeing he does. The day before that Phillip went to the doctors he has a bad ear infection. Molly went to the Dr the day before that so that they could check and see why her blood pressure was high. Her results came back fine and they believe she is just high strung at Dr appt. They checked her blood pressure during school and it was fine and checked all her organs. All the tests came back fine. So right now we have 1 well and 2 sick. Bob is having a superbowl party tonight so him and all his guy friends are having a great time watching the game on the big screen. Love and miss you all. Posted by Picasa
