Christmas Eve 2006

We had a wonderful Christmas
everyone enjoyed themselves and ate a lot of food.
We received a lot of family games and videos!
The kids really enjoyed helping Phillip open his presents.
Bob received a circular saw, gift cards, HD dvd player, juicer, videos and games for his PS2. I received a new power mop, steam cleaner, food processor, jewlery, gift cards, soft warm house socks, teddy bear with the year on it and sudoku games.

Phillips big items were num chucks, a grill, a vacuum, little people town and ark and a shopping cart.
Phillip did not like to open the presents - he wanted us to open them and then he would play with the toys!

Hunters favorites were - doodle monster, nerf blaster (from his dad) Pirates of the Caribean video and toys , guitar and drum set (from his grandma and grandpa), Robosapien (from Nana & Pappy), flashlight and camel back (from Uncle James and Uncle Todd), a huge box of baseball cards and a real scorpion (from grandad and Grammy)a locket necklace and Sea Monkeys.

This was a dragon sculpture - Hunter collects dragons and was very excited to get another one for Christmas.

Molly's favorites were Wii (from her mom) Pokemon ranger video game (from memaw), Wii spongebob game (from Kristi), Happy feet Wiii game (from her mom), pokemon clothes, pillows, watches, jewelry and toys, gift cards & savings bonds (from different family members) and a Kirby DS game.

Molly loves Pokemon but, it is getting harder and harder to find stuff for her so, this year I made all of her shirts and she thought they were great! I was very relieved considering I have never done anything like that before.
Hunter had to take a picture of our tree - he is trying to learn how to take good pictures - so, I figured I would add it to our blog. He didn't do to bad of a job.
Bob and I spent Christmas day being lazy and enjoying doing absolutely nothing all day long with Phillip. We stayed in our PJ's, watched football and ate left overs all day long!

Christmas at Grandad and Grammy's

WE had such a nice time with Bob and Liz on the 23rd - we had a delicious dinner and enjoyed a wonderful evening chatting and playing with the children. Here are some picture of our evening and Christmas together.
Hunter was so excited to get a real microscope with real slides!
Bob should not have a problem finding a team shirt now!
This is a birdhouse we had made for Bob and Liz. It is all hand made and will stand up to any weather.
We love you Grandad and Grammy!

Liz says for every new Coffee mug that comes in two must go out! I guess you better start looking at which mugs you want to go in the trash Bob!
Hunter was so surprised that this was a real scorpion - he couldn't wait to get home and put it on his desk.
Molly really loved her bracelet - she wore it all the way home and laid it out to wear the next day for Christmas - it was a perfect fit too!
Bob is already planning on using his gift card for a new air compressor - he has had his eye on it for some time. I guess my patio will have to wait a little longer.

I can't wait to use this for all the after Christmas sales - it is my favorite time of year to shop.

Phillip loves his little people ark. He keeps putting the animals in and out over and over again. He likes the doors on it too.
These finger puppets were the neatest little thing I have ever seen. They were all hand made and stitched so perfectly that it is hard to imaging someones hands are that steady and small to craft something like this.

Phillip really loved Grammy's blanket - he kept stealing it and snuggling in her chair.
Phillip had his own - Phillip size silver ware and plate - it was adorable. He also had an adult helping of all the sweets! He was not settling for a small size on the desserts.
Phillip received a sock Monkey that Grammy made and he decided he needed to rock it to sleep.

Lots of love - Merry Christmas and Thank you both for the very generous gifts we received - We love you both very much!

Christmas at Dana's

We had a nice Christmas with Dana - Molly's mom- she got Hunter a dragon and light saber - Phillip made out he received the famous Tickle Me Elmo TMX - he was very excited - There are no pictures of what we bought each other b/c I already opened mine and she has not opened hers yet! Thanks for all the gift!

Christmas with Peggy

We had such a great Christmas with Peggy, Nikki and Kristen - they came over to our house Wed before Christmas and we exchanged gifts with them - they had bought the kids so much stuff! Hunter received a guitar and Drum set that he has not stopped playing - Molly got a great game and a lot of candy - Phillip has an electronic board and pen that he takes with him everywhere - I received a beautiful cobalt blue jar and Bob got a superbowl cup - we both received a beautiful Bible holder - we had a lot of compliments on it at our Bible study group. It was really strange not having Grandpa Jerry with us but we know he is with us in spirit and we miss him so much! Here are some pictures from our Christmas together and also a picture of Grandpa with Hunter and Kristen when they were little.

Kristen made this snowman for Nikki it was wonderful!

Grandpa Jerry always took pride in knowing that the presents he got Hunter would annoy me in some way - I hate noisy things and he always made sure he bought Hunter the loudest item in the store - this year was no different - he bought Hunter drums!

Phillip had to get into the box that Hunters Guitar came in - he fit perfectly!
